About the Founder
Sugar Cakes and Creame main goal in mind is to make the world a joyful place with our darling southern sweet treats. Tracie Butler born and raised in Detroit wanted to bring her southern flavor style of cooking to the urban city. Tracie Butler passion for making homemade ice cream and baking started at a young age in her grandmother’s kitchen in Laurel, Mississippi. As a child, Tracie enjoyed cooking and baking in the kitchen with her mother, grandmother, and aunts’. In 2015, Tracie decided to use her family recipes to create flavorful desserts that everyone loves and enjoy into a home base business called “Sugar Cakes and Creame”.
